Jordan Spieth has strung together three consecutive birdies, the latest at the 12th, to reach 3-under par. The run lifted him from fifth into a share of third, putting him one shot behind co-leaders Harris English and Tommy Fleetwood.

Harris English's bogey at the 15th cost him outright control of the FedEx St. Jude Championship. He is now 4-under par, tied with Tommy Fleetwood at the top, after English had been alone at 5-under par before the slip.

Jordan Spieth has played his way into the top five, picking up a shot to reach 2-under par through the 11th hole. He is tied for fifth, three shots behind Harris English’s 5-under-par lead, with several players still tightly packed around him.
